mission | objectives | founders | faculty advisers | > mission The Predoctoral Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (PAOMS) is a student-run organization aiming to bridge the gap between dental students and the specialty of oral & maxillofacial surgery; to educate predental and dental students about the scope of the specialty; to provide services and to research, organize, and disseminate information important to students pursuing a residency program in the oral & maxillofacial surgery; to give dental students an opportunity to become involved in organized dentistry; and to improve oral health care and patient management through recruiting quality individuals into the specialty of oral & maxillofacial surgery.
