biography

Ms. Frankl teaches courses in Bioethics and Law and lectures on the topic of risk management in both the predoctoral and postdoctoral programs. Within the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research, Frankl is active in the Division of Community Health Programs and the Division of Health Services Research. Her research interests include moral development in the dental profession, and the legal and financing issues associated with providing oral health services to vulnerable populations. She is a member of the school’s Admission’s Committee and the chairperson of the Managed Care Task Force.

She has held positions at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Faulkner Hospital in Boston, and the Massachusetts Department of Medical Security. As a Health Care Associate at Boston University’s Health Policy Institute (HPI), Ms. Frankl is involved with a variety of legal and business activities, and is a consultant to HPI’s Program for Entrepreneurship in Health Care.
