Student Research Group
The SRG at BUSDM is a chapter of the National Student Research Group (NSRG), under the umbrella of the American Association for Dental Research (AADR). Our purpose is to foster a research environment at Boston University School of Dental Medicine where students can integrate and enhance their didactic learning and APEX experiences.
The student research group at BUSDM was established in 1992 and is a component of the AADR in the Boston/Connecticut Region. The AADR strongly urges schools within a region to work together to promote student research activity and to share experiences with competitions, conferences and interaction with research faculty.
In 2001, student research represented a considerably large proportion of abstracts presented at the AADR Annual Meeting in Chicago.
